Re-roofing policy for the City of Cupertino 1. Prior to permit issuance,you must agree to comply with 1997 UBC Standards and manufacturers specifications on re-roofing. 2. New roof coverings shall not be applied without first obtaining all inspection and written approval from the building inspector. It appears to,only have 1 ply of felt, which can be seen at eave. Manufacturer specification require any roof with a pitch of less than 4/12 and not less than 2/12 to have 2 ply of felt. We will warranty our ork only for one year. If a leak occurs and Eastman Contracting determines it is due to lack of pr per underlayment, warranty will be void. If a warranty is desired on the entire roof, we recommend pro er installation with 2 ply of felt, call us for a quote.
