Dear Manny:
It is our understanding that a new TPO roof overlay membrane will be installed on the roof of
subject building and that the new overlay will weigh 0.29 psf. The structural design of the roof
framing members includes a 1.0 psf allowance for miscellaneous weight. It is therefore our
professional opinion that the added weight of the overlay membrane is negligible and will not
compromise the overall structural capacity of the roof system to a design-significant extent.
