1.0 EVALUATION SCOPE

2.0 PURPOSE OF THIS SUPPLEMENT
This supplement is issued to indicate that the fiber-cement panels, lap siding and cladding shingles described in the master
report ESR-2290 are noncombustible materials and may be used where ignition-resistant construction is required by Section
704A.3 of the 2007 California Building Code (CBC) or Section 707A.3 of the 2010 CBC, provided installation is in
accordance with the master report and the applicable requirements of Sections 1405.15, 1405.16, and 1405.17 of the 2007
CBC or Sections 1405.16 and 1405.17 of the 2010 CBC,as applicable.
The exterior wall coverings may be used in the construction of new buildings located in Fire Hazard Severity Zone within
State Responsibility Areas or any Wildland-Urban Interface Fire Area, as permitted in Section 701A.3 of the 2007 and 2010
CBC.
The products recognized in this supplement have not been evaluated for compliance with the International Wildlend-Urban
Interface Codec.
This supplement expires concurrently with the master report reissued on March 1,2012.
