Re: Tree Protection.
Dear Ms. Sun,
The purpose of this letter is to verify that the tree protection measures outlined in
the tree protection and removal report of January 17th 2011 (copy attached) have
been applied successfully.
The only tree on the property scheduled to remain post-construction was an 18-inch
diameter Holly oak.The tree was surrounded by a functional picket fence, which
served adequately as a pre-existing tree protection zone.Added to this existing
fence has been the required signage, which remains today.
Some smaller garden items have peen placed inside the confines of the fence, but
nothing is there that would not be found in most suburban gardens. It remains free
of construction items or chemicals. It is obvious that the ground beneath the tree,
inside the tree protection zone has remained undisturbed, and that the fence has
served its purpose well. The tree appears healthy and damage free.
As home construction is complete, the fence may now be removed'to allow the final
landscape phase of the project to commence.
As per Local Authority requirements,it is noted that a 24—inch boxed Mayten tree
has been planted in the front yard of the property.
Please feel free to call if this office can be of any further assistance.

Hi Mr. Chen,
Sorry for the late reply, I was out of the office Thursday and Friday.
I have reviewed the drawings and as they match the installation, I have entered and passed the in-progress inspection
today. There will be a copy of the drawings in the file jacket for this job.
You can have myself or another inspector sign the permit card when we are out there or bring the card in this afternoon
between 4:00 and 4:30 pm and I will sign it.
Thanks,
,cciacd

Hi Richard,
Attached is the updated plan of eave detail by Mr. Mike Chen. A zoom-in version is also attached,
showing the overlap between.gutter edge, raiser and underlayment.
Per you request, I am also attaching a few photos taken from the eave of south side roof.
Please let us know if you are okay with them.
Thanks,
Lidong
