The 2001 California Building, Mechanical, Plumbing, 2005 California Energy and 2004 California

2 Submit fire alarm system shop drawings (3 sets) and a permit application to the
Fire Prevention Division for review and approval of modifications/alterations to

CBC/1003.3. 3 NOTE
1.8 Exit doors shall be openable from the inside without the use of a key, thumb turn,
or any special knowledge or effort. Manually operated edge- or surface mounted
flush bolts and surface bolts shall not be used on exit doors.
CFC/1002.1 4 NOTE
All portions of the building shall be within 75 feet of a fire extinguisher. The
minimum size of the extinguisher shall be 2-A:10-BC.
CBC/1003.2. NOTE
