Re: Support for Cupertino Crossroads and Islands Restaurant(Item#16)
Dear Mayor Mark Santoro and Cupertino City Councilmembers,
I am writing to express my support for the Planning Commission's approval of extended hours of midnight on
Sunday-Thursday and 1 am on Friday-Saturday and the addition of a bar facility at Islands Restaurant.
Cupertino needs additional opportunities for late night dining and entertainment. As a long time resident, I
think this is a step in the right direction.
This new establishment, combined with their request for greater operational flexibility will be a great addition
to the Cupertino Crossroads redevelopment, as well as to the greater Cupertino community.
Thank you for your consideration.
Sincerely,
Luis Buhler
