Review of the project additions to the five-year Capital Improvements Program (FY 2012-13 to
2016-17) for conformity to the City of Cupertino’s General Plan
Additional Discussion
Three new projects were added and 2 projects have been deleted from the CIP:
Added; Blackberry Farm Golf Course irrigation upgrades and ponds
o
modification/cleanup, well restoration, would be CEQA exempt
Added; McClellan Ranch Environmental Center
o
This is part of the Stevens Creek Corridor Master Plan, but some funds are currently
available to initiate a preliminary design study, would have its own CEQA evaluation at
a later time
Added; Service Center solar panel installation feasibility study
o
A study would be started to research placement of panel systems, funding needs and
energy generation, would be CEQA exempt
Deleted; City Hall upgrades, would be CEQA exempt
o
Deleted; Civic Center Master Plan, would be CEQA exempt
o
ACTION: Recommendation for approval of a Negative Declaration for EA-2012-03 the entire CIP
