Review of the five-year Capital Improvements Program (FY 2013-14 to 2017-18) for conformity to
the City of Cupertino's General Plan

o Review limited to first year funded projects:
o One project has already had a separate environmental review -Stevens Creek Corridor
Park, Phase II.
o Repairs/renovations and minor maintenance of existing facilities projects - (park path
ramp repairs and trail resurfacing),would be CEQA exempt
o Minor City infrastructure projects -( fiber optic installation at Quinlan Community
Center, construction of a new path linking to the Stevens Creek Trail, installation of a
solar PV system at the Service Center, and design and install a new outfall to replace the
existing one and restoration of the creek bank at Calabazas Creek), would be CEQA
exempt
o Repairs/renovations and minor maintenance of existing facilities projects - (McClellan
ranch restroom and site access upgrades, Sports Center tennis court retaining wall
replacement, minor facility renovations at the Senior Center and Sports Center), would
be CEQA exempt
o Overall projects in total will not pose any significant environmental impacts
o The Civic Center Master Plan, Storm Drain Master Plan update and Stevens Creek
Corridor Park Chain Master Plan, Accessibility Transition Plan, sidewalk improvements
at Orange and Byrne Avenues and McClellan Road, an expansion at the Library, solar
PV system for the Environmental Education Center and the Distributed Antenna System
at City Hall projects will require their own, separate environmental reviews
