It is our desire to cover the roof of the small Atrium in the middle of the House.We will be using Skylights that can be opened and closed from below. Information regarding the make and model is attached as a part of the documents. "Four Seasons Roofing Company"will be our contractors for this small project. We feel that covering this is a necessity because of the following- 1. The Atrium is open to elements from the top.As the result of this,when it Rains, Rain water may damage internal Structure. 2. during Fall,especially when it is windy, Needles from the pine trees behind our home will fall right through making it very difficult to maintain. 3. Easy entry for Insects and other small critters and occasional Bird droppings that are difficult to prevent. We want to secure the home and ourselves,without compromising the structural integrity, using operable Skylight. Please Note : We DO NOT Intend using this space as an additional room .We are covering the roof to protect our existing property and for our safety.We hope you give us permission to take up this small project.
