Exhibit CC 1-21-14 Item #15 Emails and PowerpointCG (- 2.1 -(t( Karen B. Guerin 0 From: AnneNg @aol.com Sent: Monday, January 20, 2014 8:33 PAI To: City Council Subject: ban eps please Honorable Councilmembers: Please vote for both parts of agenda item 17 at the meeting tomorrow evening, to effectively ban the use of Styrofoam for take -out food in Cupertino, for all the reasons listed in the staff report. Not only is it really bad for the environment when it ends up as litter, but it ends up in the landfill even if it's properly discarded in Cupertino, according to Recology rules. It's not easily recyclable. Recyclable alternatives exist. Thank you! Anne Ng 6031 Bollinger Road Cupertino cc - z,1 -/y -ff /s- Karen B.
