MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE
BICYCLE; PEDESTRIAN COMMISSION
February 19th, 2014

The meeting was called to order at 7:02 p.m.

1) Received VTA BPAC Report (Wiant)
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
2)The Commission approved the January 15'1'., 2014 minutes as written. All in favor.
NEW BUSINESS
3) Stevens Creek Boulevard Bicycle Enhanceiiients
Mr. Stillman requested feedback from the Commission on bicycle enhancements on
Stevens Creek Boulevard. The enhancements requested_ are on Stevens Creek Boulevard
between Highway 85 and De Anza Boulevard.
OLD BUSINESS
4) Survey Development
Mr. Stillman will send the survey created by the Commission to Cupertino schools.
5) Bike to Work Day
Mr. Stillman will find out who the Commission can contact regarding City of Cupertino
social media and promoting Bike to Work Day. Commissioner Chan will send
Commissioner Mitsch contact inforination for Bike to Work Day.
6) Hotlist
The Hotlist was discussed.
7) Crossing Guard Study Update
There will be pedestrian and vehicle counts at locations with crossing guards, as well as a
couple others to be determined including Blaney/Merritt.

• Budget for BPC each year.
