TO: Cupertino City Council
On behalf of myself and my sister, Pauline Bunten, this is a request for the
Council to give serious consideration for an additional full time Cupertino
Case Manager located at the Cupertino Senior Center.
This is a very important and badly needed request for the many elderly and
disabled citizens of Cupertino who are in need of many requests in order to
stay in our homes and not in a badly managed health care center. Believe me,
we both have been in them many times, not to the satisfaction of both our
Doctor or to us, due to improper care and additional illness upon release.
Since our Doctor put us under the care and supervision of your current Case
Manager, Mrs. Karen Goss, it certainly was the best thing that ever happened
to us as she is the most thoughtful, caring Case Manager who is so dedicated
to her work of finding anything and everything needed to make life more
comfortable and happier for all her patients. That takes a lot of hard work
and a tremendous work load which no doubt needs home work as well.
Should you need a list of the large amount of work she has done for us, it
will be gladly furnished and the list will astonish you; however, it would be
quite a chore for me to accomplish due to my disability. The list would be
for just the two of us not to mention the other fortunate elderly and disabled
people she helps.
PLEASE, PLEASE, give her more help! The Council should be made aware of the
hard work only one Case Manager does for all the elderly and disabled in the
entire City of Cupertino..
Thank you for your time and urgently needed consideration to the above most
needed request.
Sincerely,
Mary Lou Bronza
