Review of the five-year Capital Improvements Program (FY 2014-16 to 2018-19) for conformity to
the City of Cupertino's General Plan

o Replacement or reconstruction of existing facilities - (Collins School Cricket batting
cage), would be CEQA exempt
o Minor City infrastructure projects - (minor rehabilitation of the bridges on Stevens
Creek Boulevard on Stevens Creek and on Homestead at Stevens Creek, design and
construct replacement irrigation and planting of street medians, expansion of the traffic
signal interconnections along Homestead Rd., Stelling Rd., Stevens Creek Blvd. east of
Bubb Rd and Foothill Blvd., installation of speed bumps on Vista Dr. and Lazaneo Dr.,
and the installation of a solar PV systern at the Service Center), would be CEQA exempt
o Repairs/renovations and minor maintenance of existing facilities projects - (McClellan
Ranch pedestrian, parking and landscape improvements, installation of ball safety
netting screens at Wilson Park, installation of bleacher shades at Wilson Park, kitchen
and landscaping improvements at Wilson Park, Sports Center tennis court resurfacing,
minor facility renovations at the Quinlan Center and Senior Center), would be CEQA
exempt
o Overall projects in total will not pose any significant environmental impacts
o The Monta Vista Recreation Center, Pre-School play area improvements, Wilson Park
Renovation Master Plan, Civic Center Master Plan, Bicycle and Pedestrian Facility
improvements, Mary Avenue pedestrian and streetscape improvements, extension of
the length of the left turn pocket for westbound Stevens Creek Blvd at Perimeter Rd.,
Storm Drain Master Plan update, increasing the capacity of the storm drain system in
Bubb Rd. to alleviate periodic flooding on Elm Ct., and sidewalk improvements at
McClellan Road (phase 2) projects will require their own, separate environmental
reviews
