MINUTES FROM PREVIOUS MEETING
A) September 24, 2014 - Correction: Teen Center"Back to School Bash is the same
date of SAT's, not PSAT's. Commissioner Sriraman motions to approve minutes.
Commissioner Swamy seconds motion. Motion passes unanimously.

NEW BUSINESS
a) Presentation from Jerry Tallinger, Teen Liaison for the Public Safety
Commission — Presented information regarding role of Public Safety Commission,
previous Walk-One-Week results, and provided recommendations for the Teen
Commissions role in upcoming Walk-One-Week events. Commission received the
presentation.
b) Chair &Vice Chair elections—Commissioner Sriraman elected as 2014-15
Chair. Commissioner Yuri elected as 2014-15 Vice Chair.
c) Commission shirt/sweatshirt design — Design, style, and color selected. Staff
Liaison Jahns will provideanupdate of the order status at October 8, 2014
meeting.
d) 2014-15 work plan brainstorm — Commissioners brainstormed ideas for the
term to be finalized at October 8th meeting.
OLD BUSINESS
a) Pizza & Politics event update .. Update provided on the finalized panelists and
brief overview of the agenda. A facility walkthrough and rehearsal is
scheduled for Monday, October 6 at Community Hall. Members of the
Saratoga Youth Commission will attend Teen.Commission meeting on
October 8, 2014 to collaborate on the event.
