ORDINANCE NO. 1771
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO AMENDING
TITLE 19 OF THE CUPERTINO MUNICIPAL CODE TO PREZONE PROPERTY
TOTALING 0.891 ACRES, LOCATED IN THE CUPERTINO URBAN SERVICE AREA AT
10424 NORTH STELLING ROAD AND ADJOINING STREET RIGHT-OF- WAY
(APPLICATION 9-Z-97)
WHEREAS, an application was received by the City (Application no. 9-Z-97) for the
prezoning of property to PRE-RI-IO (Single-family Residential Zoning District); and
WHEREAS, the property is presently unincorporated, within the City's urban service
area and has no City prezoning;
WHEREAS, the prezoning is consistent with the City's general plan land use map,
proposed uses and surrounding uses;
WHEREAS, the prezoning will enable the property owner to develop his property in
accordance with City residential development standards;
WHEREAS, upon due notice and after one public hearing the Planning Commission
recommended to the City Council that the prezoning be granted; and
WHEREAS, a map of the subject property is attached hereto as Exhibit A as a proposed
amendment to the Master Zoning Map of the City of Cupertino..
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the property described in attached Exhibit B is hereby prezoned to PRE-
RI-IO, Single-family Residential Zoning District; and that Exhibits A & B attached hereto are
made part of the Master Zoning Map of the City of Cupertino.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force thirty (30) days after its
passage.
INTRODUCED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Cupertino the 3rd
day of November, 1997 and ENACTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
Cupertino the 1st day of December, 1997, by the following vote:
