Steve Fox reported to Jason with BNBT Builders at the jobsite. Observed placement of expansion anchors for new
HSS column base plates in VIP briefing room C2445 and experience room C250. Anchors were installed per detail
1/S4 and ICC report ESR -1917.
Performed torque testing on (20) Y2"x3'/4" expansion anchors into the concrete floor in VIP briefing room C245 and
experience room C250 on the 2nd floor for the anchorage of base plates for HSS columns for'the new steel framing.
Anchors were torqued to 40 ft. -lbs. with no failures.
Observed welding performed by Jeff Arnold I.D. 91289347 using FCAW-S process with E71 T-8 filler material
wire. Provided continuous and periodic visual inspections for the flare bevel groove welds and single pass fillet
welds of the new HSS steel framing in the 2nd floor VIP briefing room C245 and 2nd floor experience center room
C250. Work is complete per details structural sheet S/4 of plans by SW Structural, Inc. with project #15-049, dated
1/25/2016, sketch SK -1 in RFI #001, dated 2/05/2016 and meet welds the visual acceptance criteria of AWS D1.1.
Work observed was, to the best of Steve's knowledge, in conformance with approved pians, specifications and

Arnold, ID #1289347. Verified completed welds performed by (1) we r using FCAW process with E71T-8 wire.
Weldments observed consisted of partial joint penetration groove welds, flare bevel groove welds and fillet welds of
the HSS 3 '/2"x3 ''/z"xI/2"x1/4" beam for the glazing support on the 2"d floor EDU briefing room A226. All welds
inspected were in EDU briefing room A226 on the 2nd floor level. Reference structural sheet S/4 dated 1/25/16,
sketch SK -1 in RFI #001 dated 2/5/16.
Work inspected was, to the best of Steve's knowledge, in conformance with approved plans, specifications and
applicable standards of workmanship.
Laboratory test results are enclosed if testing was done during the period covered by this report.
