("Canadian Solar") warrants to the original buyer (the "Buyer") that the modules shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship that have an effect on module functionality under normal application, installation, use and service conditions as specified in Canadian Solar's standard product documentation. Canadian Solar guarantees that the module will maintain the mechanical integrity and stability in accordance with approved operation methods described in our installation instructions; the glass of a module will maintain its integrity provided there are no indications of localized impacts or external forces; and that the cable and connector plug of a module will remain safe and operational provided modules are professionally installed. Any damages caused by abrasion, improper installation or animals are exempt from this warranty. Claims under the warranty can only be accepted if the Buyer can provide proof that the malfunctioning or non -conformity of a module results exclusively from defects in materials and/or workmanship under normal application, installation, use and service conditions specified in Canadian Solar's standard product documentation. Any color change on module or any other changes on module appearance do not represent defects, insofar as the change in appearance does not stem from defects in material and/or workmanship, and does not cause degradation of functionality of the module. If the product fails to conform to this warranty, Canadian Solar will, at its option, either repair or replace the product, or provide an appropriate residual market value ofthe product(s) as compensation. Twenty Five (25) Year Limited Performance Warranty Canadian Solar guarantees that for a period of twenty five years the module will maintain a performance as set forth below: • During the first year, Canadian Solar guarantees the actual power output of the module will be no less than 97% of the labeled power output. • From year 2 to year 24, the actual annual power decline will be no more than 0.7%; by the end of year 25, the actual power output will be no less than 80% of the labeled power output. The actual power output of the module shall be determined for verification using Standard Testing Conditions only. The actual power output measurement is either carried out by a Canadian Solar facility or by a Canadian Solar recognized 3rd party testing institute. Testing equipment tolerances will be applied to all actual power output measurements. In the event it is determined that there is a negative deviation of actual performance from the warranted values then Canadian Solar, at its option, will compensate for such loss in power by either providing to the Buyer additional modules to make up the total wattage loss, or by repairing or replacing the modules or providing an appropriate residual market value of the product(s) as compensation. Warranty Effective Date The warranty effective date shall be defined as the date of installation or ninety (90) days after the delivery by Canadian Solar, whichever date is earlier. Designed to connect to IP -based applications such as enterprise energy management, demand response and smart grid programs, the AcquiSuite server lets you connect thousands of energy points, benchmark energy usage and reduce energy costs. EMBEDDED (OEM) SOLUTION The compact EMB footprint and industrial temperature range (-30 to 70C) makes this a perfect solution for embedded applications. Reduce development time and speed up integration by collecting and distributing energy information directly from your equipment. DATA COLLECTION The AcquiSuite collects and logs data from connected (wired or wireless) devices based on user selected intervals. Data from downstream devices is time stamped and stored locally in non-volatile memory until the next scheduled upload or manual download. Using an Ethernet (LAN) connection you can push or pull data via HTTP, XML, FTP or any custom protocol utilizing our AcquiSuite Module to build your own application, including integrated cellular communication options. INSTALLATION & FEATURES No software is required. Easily access information through ANY web browser. The bi-directional monitoring feature in the E51 measures power imported from the utility grid, as well as power exported from the renewable energy source (e.g. solar panels). In this way, a facility administrator can keep track of all energy data, ensuring accuracy in billing and crediting.'rhe data logging capability (E51C3 only) protects this data in the event of power failure. Modbus, pulse output, and phase alarms are all provided to suit a wide variety of applications. These station feature sensors and communication options that provide a power add-on to any solar power plant. The PVMET-200 is the intermediate level station option. It features sensors specific to PV and wind power generation. This low cost station is compact and simple to install. As with all PVMET stations it includes a RS -485 Mobus interface. Communications The PVMET-200 has a single, 2 -wire, half duplex, RS -485 port. Termination can be enabled or disabled using a jumper located near the RS -485 screw terminals. By default the PVMET-200 is configured to operate as a Modbus slave at address 60. The Modbus register layout is compatible with SunSpec Ver 1.1. A simplified register set is located at address 200 for those that do not wish to use the SunSpec data format. For users that wish to change settings, a configuration mode is provided. A simple terminal emulator application such as HyperTerminal is required to make changes. Installation The PVMET-200 's compact light weight design make installation quick and easy. Various mounting options are available, including the Rainwise 3 -foot tripod and Mono mount. The PVMET-200 is supplied with a detachable mast section that can bolted to an existing structure. All electrical connections are made using screw terminals. Standard sensors are factory installed. As a user/installer the only connections required are power and communications. Connections are accessed by removing the front cover. The cover is attached with 4 screws. For OEM customers the PVMET-200 can be supplied with factor installed power and communication cable. This completely eliminates the need for installer to remove the cover. Customization The firmware in the PVMET-200 can be updated through the RS -485 port using a simple PC application. -Fhis feature ensure that the PVMET-200 can be kept up to date with the latest available firmware. In addition Rainwise can provide certain OEM firmware customization. This can include register configuration, specific defaults and protocols. The PVMET-200 can also be customized to support customer specific sensors. This service is only available to volume OEM customers.
