“Parking Regulations” :
Section 19.124.030 “Regulations for Parking
and Keeping Vehicles in Various Zones;”
and
Section 19.124.040 “Regulations for Off-Street
Parking” (standards for bicycle parking and
facilities).
Background
Municipal Code is reviewed periodically to
ensure:
Existing standards are clarified.
Consistency with other planning documents.
Clarification of Existing Standards:
Non-Conforming Garage Space
Section 19.124.030 “Regulations for Parking and
Keeping Vehicles in Various Zones”
Allows legal non-conforming single-car garages/carports
to be modified.
Non-conformity cannot be increased.
New homes required to provide conforming parking
spaces.

City of Cupertino 2016 Bicycle Transportation Plan.
Overall increase in requirements for onsite bicycle
parking.

non-conforming single-family garages,and making
standards for bicycle parking and facilities consistent
with the City of Cupertino 2016 Bicycle Transportation
Plan.
