Application No: 13-U-81(lVi), 5-EXC-95, and 27-EA-95 Applicant: TCI West Property Owner: United Cable Television of Cupertino Location: 10040 Imperial Avenue USE PERMIT modification to erect an 80 foot tower at the above listed address. Tower shall be used to provide cable service to Cupertino/Los Altos system. EXCEPTION to chapter 19.108 to exceed the allowed height limit of receiving aerials. Ciddy Wordell received a ~equest from the applicant to withdraw this application. 2. Application No.: 7-TM-95, and 28-EA-95 Applicant: Cupertino City Center Associates Property Owner: Cupertino City Center Associates Location: East side of Torte Avenue between Stevens Creek Boulevard and Rodriques Avenue TENTATIVE MAP to subdivide a 2.41 acre parcel into 24 single thmily residential lots and one common lot. Ciddy Wordell explained that this application is for a tentative map for 25 lots; 24 are act~ml residential sites with the remaining lot for private street access. There are no significant impacts identified and staffrecommends a negative declaration. Bob Cowan moved for a negative declaration, Don Brown seconded. Vote: 4-0 3. Application No.: 10-Z-95 and 29-EA-95 Applicant: City of Cupertino Property Owner: Various' Location: Hillside areas north and east of Regnart Canyon generally bounded by Upland Way, Lindy Lane, Linda Vista Park, - and Stevens Creek to the urban service area boundary line. REZONING/PRE-ZONING for 250 plus acres from RI-10, RI -40, R 1-60, R 1-80, R1-100, A1-43, A1-100, RHS, Pre-RHS and Pre-A to RHS Residential Hillside Zoning District. Colia Jung stated that this application is a City initiated re-zoning, pre-zoning of' incorporated and unincorporated areas that are north and east of the Regnart Canyon area. These areas are hillside areas bounded by Stevens Creek, Vista Park, Upland Way and Lindy Lane. The re-zoning is part of the City program to re-zone all hillside areas to thc revised RHS zoning ordinance. These areas are presently zoned single family R1 zoning, a few agriculture zoning and include developed as well as undeveloped properties. Thc purpose of the re-zoning is basically to establish additional protective measures in terms of more restrictive development regulations in order to avoid hnTnrdous areas of ecologically sensitive areas, limit development potential and improve development aesthetics.
