Application No. 5-Z-95 and 10-EA-95 - Applicant: City of Cupertino Property Owner: Various Owners Location : 11545, 11571, 11593, 11611, and 11631 Upland Way ZONING: To rezone 5 parcels located on Upland Way from Pm-RI-IS to Pre-RI-IS with a minimum lot size designation. This application is a result of the June 1993 changes to the residential hillside General Plan policies. Staffwas directed to identify m~nlrm~m lot sizes on all residential hillside properties. In order to make the minimum lot size recommendation staff analyzed the geologic reports from the Bass Homes Development, located to the north and Seven Springs Ranch development located to the south. These reports identified a 40 & 50 foot setback from the Monta Vista fault which runs through this area_ Bob Cowan recommended various rolnlmllrn lot sizes based upon these two geologic reports recommended setbacks and the estimation of the fault line location. Bob Cowan made a motion that this application be forwarded to the Plannlug Commission with the recommendation that lot 9 be zoned RHS-15, lots 10 and 11 be zoned RI-IS-40, and lots 7 and 8 be deleted from this application, to be combined with a pending tentative map application.
