Staff Presentation: Gary Chao, Assistant Planner, briefly described the project and the
proposed changes from the previously approved project. Staff recommends approval.
Commissioner Miller asked about the 5-foot dedication and why it was necessary. Mr.
Chao explained that it was a standard Public Works condition for future sidewalks or
road widening plans.
Bhopinder Matharu, applicant, explained that there are no existing sidewalks; the
dedication was for future sidewalks.
Discussion continued regarding the history of the approved project, the 5-foot
dedication and the proposed changes.
Mr. Chao stated that staff has added a Director's Minor Modification to the project to
cover the shifting of the house. (DIR-2004-25)
