Mayor Sorensen welcomed members of Boy Scout Troop 110 andlelm who were
present in the audience.

Floyd Meyer referred to the Barbara Rogers Trust Fund and said he IuId beea uuable to
find out from City staff who bad contributed to the fimd
Director of Finance Snyder and City Attorney Kilian staled that they did not know and
felt that staffhad no need to know ..........~ the City just administers the ñmd.
Allen Bidwell, Bubb Road, talked about the City's assets and said that one people might
not be aware of is the San Jose Giants minor league basebøll team. The Cbamber has
5,000 tickets for the June 30 game. They are for sale, with .....~ to go toward

Mayor Sorensen presented a plaque to Director of Public Works Viskovicb thsnking the
I>epBrtment of Public Works for their years of support of the Tandem "Up and RlDIDing"
event which had taken place the day before.

Diredor of Public Works Viskovich presented an 11p1ate of projecls submitted for
ISTEA (Intermodal Surface Transportation Efficiency Act) funding. In the lint rouDd of
submittals widening of the ~ Boulevard bridge was included However, the latest
indication from MTC is that they want to split the use of the fimds SO-SO bot......... RJIIda
and tnmsit and the widening may be in jeop8.di. Mr. Viskovich said be will attend the
Thursday CMA board meeting to find out more about bow the fimds will be used IDd
