Department, trattic figures.
City Manager Quinlan presented his report to the City
Council and requested action troll them regarding
appropriation for inoreased patrol hours.
It was moved by Counc. Rogers, seconded by Couno. Sparks
and passed unanim,uSly to approve an increase in trattio
patrol hours and appropriation of $44,720. Counoil
referred the item to the City Manager and requested a
report back to them betore implementation.
3. Treasurer's and Budget Status Report, January, 1985.
Director of Finance Snyder presented his report to the City
Council.
Couno. Gatto praised the readability of the report.
Director of Public Works Viskovich commented on the updates
tor the Solid Waste Management Plan for Santa Clara Valley.

18324, took no action on ACR14, SB265, reterred 18115
to the City Attorney and Public Works Direotor and
reterred SB276 to the Public Works Director.

California Cities Peninaula Division.
8. Counc. Sparks commented on the need for a staff member
on the HCD eo-ittee and reported on problems
enoountered with garbage in the flood control areas.
Counc. Plungy reported on the February 7 meeting of the
Santa Clara Co. Planning Commission and their decision
regarding Voss Quarry.
It was moved by Counc. Gatto, seconded by Counc. Plungy and

round of bidding had ended with the only bidder being John

only and the City Clerk's reading to constitute the first
reading thereat.

Council disoussion ensued regarding the balance ot

whether there _ a need tor an arobitects opinion.
It was move by CoUl\o. Rogers, seconded by Couno. Johnson
and passed unanimously to take no aotion on revision ot the
ord1Jlanoe.

by the Santa Clare Co. P1Slnning Commission on the Stevens
Creek Quarry.
