properties currently zoned General Commercial (CG) to P
(Planned Development) zoning districts. The proposed
zoning action also involves some properties already
zoned Planned Develo~nt. The purpose of adding these
properties is to ensure consistent design standards tor
similarly situated properties. The Planned Development
zoning district provides additional design and land use
flexibility for the City and property owners consistent
with the General Plan. Environmental Review: The
Planning Commission recommends the granting ot a

interested in the property at McClellan and De Anza where
the Mobil station is currently located as well af! the
L-sbaped property around it. He addressed Council
regarding the benetits to having parking in tront of small
businesses rather than in back ot them.
A WOIIIan resident ot the area questioned Council regarding
the current zoning of tour lots on Blossom Way. She was
informed that the zoning map shows an R1-10 zoning; it is
"general planned" as commercial.
