Mr. Glen ~eward,' 10431 Cherry Tree Lane, a member of the Cupertino Access Committee, addressed Council regarding r&moval of handicap barri~rs around the City. Mr. Dean Couriß, a volunteer for Community Access Network, addressed Council regarding bringing the disabled into the mainstream. AI Chappell, 10139E S. Blaney, addressed Council regarding cars driving through the vacant land next to the Lake Biltmore Apartment complex. The City Manager was authorized to contact property owners of the vacant land to see if they can eliminate cars driving through the dirt. PUBLIC HFARINGS 24. Rosemary Callahan, 19954 Wheaton Drive, expressed her belief that the traffic is intolerable for residents in her area. Mr. John Callahan stated that many changes had been made since thr Gen- eral Plan including Vallco and Houlihan's, and the fact that more traffic is being directed down Stevens Creek Boulevard, thp new Four-Phase is being constructed and many rezonings have occurred. Mr. Callahan stated that his chief concern was the loading of high density in one area.
