Oral reports by staff members and aubaiasion of written reports. ~ City Manager's Report By consensus, Council authorized the City Manager to discuss with Los Alt Garbage Company the possibility of not having COVer on weekends. It was moved by Counc. Sparks, seconded by Counc. Plungy and passed unan- imously to authori7.e staff to allrw the soccer field lights to be turned on when staff is satisfied that all requireø..·nts have been met. Council will then review for approval the lights. City Clerk's Report - It was moved by Counc. Plungy, seconded by Co\mc. Sparks and passed unanimously to approv~waiver of business license fee for the period November 1, 1980 through December 1, 1980 for Agape Force. 2. Report on use of CDBG funds in conjunction with Community Housing Developers. It was moved by Counc. Sparks, seconded by Counc. Plungy and passed unan- imously to approve the option to lea..e ;>roperty 10C,1t..d near Stevens Creek Boulevard and Stelling Road and the Deed of Tr1:st securing the $11,500. Council also authorized the expenditure of $15,000 as reimburse ment to Community Housing Developers. - Council referred the possibility of a smoke detector ordinance to the City At torney.
