Tree # 1 is a native California pepper with a height of 20', a crown spread of 20' and a circumference of 50". The health is viewed as good. The foliage is normal in terms of size, coloration and distribution. Tree #2, a Coastal Live Oak with a height of 25', a crown spread of 25' and a circumference of 58" is also viewed in good health with normal foliage and live crown ratio. In between trees #1 and 2 are a series of purposed planted Privet trees now at a height of approximately 12'. These are a very aggressive and fast growing genus (ligustrum) and should provide adequate screening within months if not at present. The "secret" to maintaining a privet screen is to cut them at a certain height once the foliage becomes too high to provide lower screening effects. This "topping" will provide profuse sucker growth at the desired height by careful choice of cut placement. Please feel free to contact our office contact us if you have any questions or concerns. Sincerely, J Simon J.
