Dear Mr. Sridharan,
Thank you for your plan set submitted on August 1, 2017 for the above referenced permit on the property
located at 20087 Somerset Drive. After reviewing the application, Planning Division staff has determined
that your application is incomplete in accordance with the Permit Streamlining Act (California
Government Code section 65920). Please find below the remaining items that will need to be addressed
prior to your application being deemed complete.
Proposed Floor Plan (Sheet 4)
1. Per a phone conversation with property owner Ravi Sridharan on August 2, 2017, a portion of the
interior remodel may not be proposed as part of this project. If so, please revise the floorplans as
necessary.
2. The garage is not meeting the minimum 20’x20’ unobstructed interior garage dimensions. Please
note that the garage is not required to be built to conformance, but the square footage necessary
to bring the garage into compliance be calculated into the FAR for a future garage upgrade. Please
adjust FAR calculations as necessary.
The Planning Division may ask for more information after you respond to these comments. To avoid
having to reapply and pay new fees, please address the above comments within 60 days. Applications
that remain inactive beyond 60 days will be permanently closed. If you have any questions, please contact
