Subject:Item Number 4 On Consent Calendar -- VTA Contribution to 280/Wolfe Interchange
Dear City Council:
I am concerned about Item Number 4 on the Consent Calendar about the VTA Contribution to the 280/Wolfe
Interchange and think it needs to have more public input. Please take it off of the Consent Calendar and
have it out on the regular agenda. I think I can ask at the meeting when you are going to Consnet Calendar to
have the item discussed with the public or to pull it off the Consent Calendar. I do not understand the
500,000 dollar contribution that the new Hyatt at Vallco is making to the project also.
also, there are too many meetings planned for tonight. I thought the 280 Bike Trial meeting was at 6 PM
in the City Council Meeting and that it was a Study Session at 6 PM at the City Council meeting. Instead
it is at Quinlan Center. Why are all the meetings overlapping and in different places? There is also the
Work Plan Meeting at 4 PM in the City Hall also. Why are all these meetings on the same day?
It does make it difficult to go to the different meetings. There is also a big Bike/Pedestrian item on
City Council meeting tonight. Can you rearrange the meetings or change the dates so they do not
conflict?
Thank you very much.
Sincerely,
Jennifer Griffin
