Presentations - Chuck Forrester and Norm Steinman Wes liUliams, Alf Modine, Ann Anger, RoLert Pugh, Jo Celio and Nancy Hertert spoke in support of the concept of the Santa Clara Valley Corridor Evaluation but felt Highway 85 should be given a higher priority. Mike Bullock, past preeident of ~he Santa Clara Valley Bicycle Asaociation, urged Council t~ emphasize the importance that IISES transit be available to bicycle riders. Mr. Bullock also urged that there be a uniform policy to allow cyclists to ~se expressways. Cecil PennL.,gton, T'ùffi= and Transportation Manager oÎ Lockheed, informed Council that Lockheed will be initiating a van/bus program which will be tied int~ the Moffet Park complex plan. dy consensus, Council supported the Santa Clara Valley Corridor Evaluation but recommends it speak to Highway 85 as a high priority item.
