Dear Rob, The above referenced project complies with the California Energy Code; Title 24, Part 2, Chapter 2-53, Climate Zone 04 requirements. Compliance is- demonstrated using Energy Pro 5 computer performance approach. Attached is a generic cross section which shows insulation levels used in the calculations and a summary of :*the appliance and window, reaui"rements used in the calculations to meet compliance. .Please read these attachments. The following energy conservation measures areused in the calculations to demonstrate compliance: Roof R-30 (minimum) Windows = U-Value 0 .58 (maximum) SHGC 0. 65 (minimum). Sliding/French Doors U-Value 0.53 (maximum) SHGC 0 . 65 (minimum) We shorn an existing 50-gallon water heater in our calculations. We show an existing forced air unit in our calculations . If there .are going to be changes to any of the items used in the calculations the change may cause this residence to be out of compliance. Values used in the reports take precedence. Call. me_ if changes are going to be made. Sincerely, Deborah M.
