Mayor Jackson requested that before the Council take up the continuation
of the budget review that Counc. Rogers relate information she was able
to obtain that day in Sacramento on SB 1874. She reported that the bill
did not receive enough votes in committee and therefore did not pass.
CITY CLERK'S NOTE: The following are a series of motions implementiog
modifications to the Proposed Budget. Unless otherwise indicated the
amounts shown are those to be deleted from the applicable line it~m. For
convenience and readability the lIIaker and aecond of each motion are indi-
