APPROVAL COMMITTEE OF THE CITY OF
CUPERTINO RECOMI-IENDING APPROVAL OF
A LANDSCAPING AND FENCING PLAN FOR THE
KEY CHEVROLET FACILITY ENCOMPASSING BOTH
THE EXISTING AUTO SALES LOT AND THE PROPOSED
AUTO STORAGE FACILITY ON STELLING ROAD.

FINDINGS:
The Architectural and Site Approval Committee finds that the proposal
conforms with the requirements of the General Plan and conforms with the
direction of the City Council regarding landscaping and fencing at the
subject site.
CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL:
1-7. Architectural and Site Approval Standard Conditions to the extent that
they do not conflict with the special conditions enumerated herein. In
the event a conflict does exist, the special conditions as enumerated
herein shall apply.
C8.,' The recommendation of approval is based upon Exhibits B, C and C-1
of this application except as may be amended by special conditions
contained herein.
9.i The landscaping along Stelling Road shall utilize a ground cover and shrub
material which is consistent with the materials utilized on the racquet
ball facility across Stelling Road. Details subject to staff approval.
10. The posts along Stevens Creek Boulevard east of the display area shall
not exceed 30 inches in height. The posts shall be constructed of
wood consistent with the proposed posts in front of the new car display area.
11. 'All trees shall equal a minimum of 15 gallon container initial size and
shrubs 5 gallon container initial size consistent with the General Plan.
C12-) A proposed razor ribbon barbed wire attachment to the existing fencing and
addition to the chain link fencing on Stelling Road is not approved. A
12 foot chain link fence is approved in lieu of the proposed barbed wire.
The fence may be located along the site's Stelling Road frontage, north
and east property lines, and along the southern property line coterminous
with the Shell Oil gas station.
