to be an attempt to save it and have it moved to another lo..ation as a

The Director of Public Works informed the Vouncil that with the ~xception
of the Californ~a Water Service Compæ,y there had been 100% prot~st from
the property owners and recommended that the reorganization process be
abandoned.

It was moved by Counc. O'Keefe, seconded by Counc. Meyers and pacsed unSD
imously to close the public hearing.
It was moved by Counc. Nellis and seconded by Counc. O'Keefe to .efer the
application to staff for furthe. discussion with the applicant as to
design and siting after which it is to be referred to the Planning Com-
mission. The motion was withdrawn following a request by the applicant
that he would prefer a denial to a continuan::e of thi.. nature.
It was moved by Counc. O'Keefe, seconded by Counc. Jackson and passed
with Counc. Frolich dissenting to deny Application 2-CDPR3-77 pursuant
to <he Planning Commission recommendAtion contained in its Resolution No.
1749.
Mayo~ Frolich requested and received permission to take Item 35 o~t of
ord~r for discussion of Item 14 which had been removed from the Consent
Cale~dar as he would be delayed in attending the adjourned meeting of
November 8, 1977, at which time this ~tter would have been dic~ussed.

It was moved by Counc. Nellis, seconded by Counc. Jackson and passed unan
imously to correct the minutes of the adjourned meeting of October 12,
1977, to reflect the comments of Mayor Pro Tem Nellis explaining the
redson for Mayor Frolich'R absence was that as the City's representative
on the County Transportation Commission he ~as required to attend a
mee,ing of that commission.
