A i. I have inspected to confirm that the landscaping and irrigation are installed as specified in the
landscape and irrigation design plan with the following changes:
The location of the valves, has changed to the front left of the house.
One additional low water plant and emitter to valve I which does not affect the amount of water
needed.
Some of the plant species were changed but were kept to low water and/or native California,
The zone order has changed. Zone 4 is now for turf and the 5"' valve is left for homeowner.
ii. Inspected for system tune-up and found not tune up needed at this point in time.
iii. Performed a system test with distribution uniformity and found 100% coverage according to
specifications.
iv. Inspected for ovcrspray or run-off that causes overland flwx, and found none.
v. For irrigation schedule please refer to "Landscape and Irrigation Maintenance Schedule."
B. The landscape and irrigation system, have been installed as specified in the landscape and

Useful Irrigation Formulas & Charts
For Drip Irrigation
Application Rates of Emitter -Line Grids -This simple inches 231.1 X Emiilttar Rate (9ph)
formula allows the precise calculation of application rates in Per .= anittaelr Sing x L c n9
inches per hour. Just enter the emitter rate (GPH), the spac- Hour ) (in )
ing of the emitter -line that you are using in Inches, and the
spacing of the laterals in `Inches into the formula.
Application Rates of Point source Drip Systems -This
formula Is for systems using individual emitters. You add up Application Rate — GPH X 1.604
the total GPH of all the emitters on the valve and enter that (inches/hour) Area
total along with the area watered In square feet to get your {square fleet)
application rate in inches per hour.
Common Emitter -Lime Spacing Chart -This chart shows
the application rate and run times to apply a quarter inch of
water. The emitter lines chosen are the most commonly sold
and used.
Maximum Length of a Single Lateral (feet) -This chart is
for knowing the longest a lateral for 17mm emitter line that
is pressure compensating and has check valves. We know
it most commonly as Netifim's Techline CV, but the chart
works with new 17mm products by Hunter, NDS (Agrifim)
and RainBird.
