CC 4-2-19 #18 Written CommunicationsCC 4/2/19 0tem #18 Cyrah Caburian From: Peggy Griffin <griffin@compuserve.com> Sent: Sunday, March 31, 2019 11:40 PM To: City Council Cc: City Clerk Subject: CC Item #18 - 2019 General Plan Annual Progress Report comments Many items have "Community Development" crossed out and replaced with "City Manager". Q: Is the job description for Community Development Director being changed to correspond to these? 106 - Crossroads Streetscape Plans Scheduled for 2022-2040 Q: What's planned? 145 - North De Anza Conceptual Plan Schedule for 2019-2021 Don't see this in a Work Plan. Q: Why is Public Works - Development Services involved in this instead of just supporting the effort? All the other Conceptual Plans have "Public Works - Development Services" as supporting. 159 - Homestead Conceptual Plan Schedule for 2022-2040 Q: When? 197 - Amenities and Services - equitable distribution Scheduled as "Ongoing" but the 2019-20 Work Plan is not equitable! PROBLEM: The majority of Park and Rec funds are being spent on the west side of Cupertino. Activities that were held on the east side (summer swim lessons at Cupertino High) are being moved to the west side! This will cause more people to have to drive to the west side of town just to make it easier for the swim instructors at Blackberry Farm. Making it easier for a few at the cost of many having to commute down an already congested road does not make sense. PLEASE RETHINK THIS! 295 - Wolfe Road Overcrossing Scheduled 2019-2021 Q: Wasn't this part of the Apple 2 plans? If so, is CalTrans part of the loop in this? Shouldn't they be listed?
