PETITION FOR ANNEXATION
The undersigned property owner(s) hereby make(a) application
to the City of Cupertino for annexation to said City of the
hereinafter described territory in accordance with the Annexation
of Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939 of the State of California.
Said territory Is uninhabited territory, and is situate in the
County of Santa Clara , State of California.
The undersigned petitioner(s) is (are) the owner(s) of not
less than one-fourth of the land in the territory proposed to be
annexed to the City of Cupertino , by area, and by assessed
value as shown on the last equalized assessment roll of the County
of Santa Clara in which said territory is situated. Said
territory is bounded and more fully described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the Easterly line of Mountain View -Stevens
Creek Road, at the Southwesterly corner of Lot 238 as said Road
and Lot are shown upon that certain map entitled "Map of Inspira-
tion Point, Monta Vista" which map was filed for record in the Of-
fice of the Recorder of the County of Santa Clara, State of Califor-
nia on April 11, 1917 in Book P of Maps, Page 18, said point of be-
ginning also being on the present City Limit Line of the City of
Cupertino; thence from said point of beginning Northerly along said
Easterly line of Mountain View -Stevens Creek Road to the point of
intersection thereof with the centerline of Bonita Avenue (now
abandoned) as said Avenue is shown upon the map above referred to;
thence Easterly along said centerline of Bonita Avenue to the
point of intersection thereof with the Northerly prolongation of
the Easterly line of Lot 256-A as said lot is shown upon the map
above referred to; thence Southerly along said prolongation and a-
long the last named Easterly line to the Southeasterly corner of
said Lot 256-A; thence Westerly along the Southerly line of said
Lot 256-A and its Westerly prolongation to the point of beginning
and containing 5.29 acres of land more or less.
