The undersigned property owner(s) hereby makes) application
to the City of Cupertino for annexation to said City of the
hereinafter described territory in accordance with the Annexation
of Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939 of the State of California.
Said territory Is uninhabited territory, and is situate in the
County of Santa Clara State of California.
The undersigned petitioner(s) is (are) the owner(s) of not
less than one-fourth of the land in the territory proposed to be
annexed to the City of Cupertino ; by area, and by assessed
value as shown on the last equalized assessment roll of the County
of Santa Clara in which said territory is situated. Said
territory is bounded and more fully described as follows:
Beginning at the southeast corner of Lot 40 as said Lot is shown
on that certain Map entitled "Map of Colony Tract Monta Vista",
which Map was filed for record in the Office of the Recorder of
the County of Santa Clara, State of California, on April 11, 1917
in Book P of Maps, at Page 21, said point of beginning also being
a point on the City Limit Line of the City of Cupertino; thence
westerly and northwesterly along the southerly and westerly boun-
daries of said Colony Tract to a stake marked R-5 set in the cen-
terline of McClellan Road (40 feet wide); thence northeasterly along
the said centerline of McClellan Road to the intersection thereof
with the northwesterly prolongation of the northeasterly line of
Lot 63 of said Map; thence southeasterly along said prolongation
and last named line to the most easterly corner of said Lot 63;
thence southwesterly along the common line between Lots 63 and 55
of said Map to the most northerly corner of Lot 56 as shown on said
Map; thence southeasterly along the common line of said Lots 56 and
55 to the most easterly corner of said Lot 56; thence northeasterly
along the northwesterly line of Lot 54 to the intersection thereof
with the westerly line of Madrid Road (40 feet wide) as said lines
are shown on said Map; thence easterly and parallel with the divi-
ding line between Lots 31A and 32, as shown on said Map to the
most easterly boundary of said Colony Tract; thence southerly a-
long said easterly boundary to the point of beginning.
