This type of bus transportation takes away the fast lane on both sides of Stevens Creek Blvd , and gives those lanes to the Fixed Bus Rapid Transsit. This is not a good design for Stevens Creek Blvd . as the traffic would be reduced to one land in each direction and all the traffic would back up . Fixed Bus Rapid Transit has not worked well in other cities it was implemented in. It also interferes with Cupertino's Heart of the City plan . I think that having buses run up and down Stevens Creek Blvd . like the Bus 23 and Bus 24 is the best way to handle traffic on Stevens Creek Blvd .· These buses are flexible and efficent and have worked well for many years . I am very concerned that Fixed Bus Rapid Transit would take away valuable traffic lanes on Stevens Creek Blvd . and would endanger Heart of the City and The City of Cupertino's street trees . San Jose's Urban Villages rollout on Stevens Creek Blvd. is another factor that may complicate and endanger Cupertino's Heart of the City and Cupertino's street trees . Thank you very much . Sincerely, Jennifer Griffin Tote1l C on t rol P,w el To: ci tvco u nc i l!C1.,c uperti no . org From : grenna5000@yahoo.com Remove th is se nder from my all ow li st You received this mess age because th e sender is on your allow list. 1 cc 4 /2/19 Item #11
