As a California Registered Engineer, I was contacted by Jon R. Crase Construction, Inc. (noted
as JRC) to observe the temporary shoring of exterior and interior walls which sustained damaged
due to a vehicle impact. On April 3rd, 20191 performed a visual inspection of the temporary
shoring of the walls. JRC installed new 2x4 studs spaced at 16"o.c. max. from wall sole plate to
the first floor top plates at the exterior wall and to an existing header within the interior wall. From
the work that I observed, I can accept the temporary shoring as installed in a safe and secure
manner to allow the repair of the damaged exterior and interior walls.
