X'iv _ ~ • • RGSOLUTION NO. 9640 A RESOLUTION OF TNG CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO - ADOPT[NG 1-GPA-96 WHEREA3, the City of Cupertino initiated an application for a General Plan Amendment as described on this resolution; and WHEREAS, the necessury public notices have been given in uccordwice with the Procedural Ordinance of the City of CupeRino; and WHEREAS, the application, no. 1-GPA-96 requests that 1) The land use map designation for 12 acres of land bordered by Ricardo Road and ' Miramonte Road be umended from Very Low Densfty Residential, Foothl!! ~LfodlJted ' Slope De~rsiry Formu/a to Low Densiry Residential. 1-S Dwellings pergross acre, as I shown in Exhibit A-1; and 2) The Housing Allocation Table on page 2-9 and Housing Element Appendix C map in the General Plan be umended to allow the S00 housins units planned for Stevens Creek Boulevazd to be tlexibly placed in lhe Heart of the City Specific Plan area as shown in Exhibits A-2 and B-2. WHERGAS, the City Council considered the potential environmental impacts of the project and found that they were not significant. NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Cupertino: l. That aRer careful consideration of the maps, facts, exhibits, testimony and other evidence submitted in this matter, the application for General Plan Amendment, 1-GPA-96 is hereby approved. 2. That the subconclusions upon which the findings and canditions specified in this resolution are based and contained in the public hearing record conceming Applicution No. 1-GPA-96 as set forth in the minutes of the City Council meeting of July 1, 1996, and are incorporated by reference as though fully set forth herein.
