Each extension, if granted, will be for a period of not more than 90 days. Extension requests shall be hand delivered to the building department or e-mailed to suew@cupertino.org. A $39.00 fee shall apply to all extension requests, payable to the City of Cupertino at the time the request is made. If a plan review application expires, the renewal of the application will NOT be granted unless the construction plans comply with the 2010 California Codes and any new local regulations that came into effect from the date of the original application. Additional plan review (and associated fees) will be required to verify d6mpliance with these new regulations. The plans will become null and void 30 days after the date of this letter if a building permit is not secured or an extension is not granted. You will have 10 business days after that date to pickup your documents or they will be recycled. At that point the permit application will then be voided in the Permit System and all documents pertaining to the permit application will be recycled.
