After some discussion, Councilman Stokes said it was up to the Kayor to appoint someone to this Committee. The array of the buildings on the site was as the plans indicat"d, but the roof lines have changed to a hip type. They had discussed their critical pads with the Director of Public "orks and the Chief Building Inspector and as a result they dropped the pads. These buildings present a very small degree of obstruction of view. Chaircan Ryner, of the Architectural and Site Approval Comœittee, said he ~as concerned about the number of things of th'cs sort happening in the City of Cupertino. He asked why we are not checking these things before they are coapleted. The architect said the property owners were not assured of a view. Councilman Stokes said the applicant made a proposal to the City and then changed it. Tbe architect agreed it was their lIistake when they changed the roof lines, and he was sorry.
