FOLLOW PROPER SAFETY PROCEDURES.
2. ALL CODES HAVING JURISDICTION ARE HEREBY MADE A PART OF
THIS DOCUMENT AND ARE TO BE STRICTLY OBSERVED BY THE
CONTRACTOR IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE PROJECT, IN THE

Subject: Review of Proposed Framing Modifications;
Dear Mark and Mary:
We understand from Ben Granada of Conifer Construction that you propose to replace a 6 foot
sliding door with an 8 foot sliding door. See SKI for the location of these modifications.
We understand there is an existing 4x12 header that is continuous for approximately 11 a-9".
Single bearing studs at each end of the 6 foot slider will be replaced with double 20 bearing
studs at the ends of the 8 foot slider. See SK2 for elevations of the existing condition and the
proposed condition.
Based on the above information, the proposed framing modifications are acceptable.
Please pass this letter on to the Building Department.
