Subject: Vallco allocations
Dear Council Members,
Congratulations on removing office allocations and making it clear that it is the residents and our City
Council who take decisions for our future, not a private company.
However, I think the sq. footage allocation for retail may have been an oversight. Please upgrade it to a
minimum of 600,000 sq ft ASAP.
On another matter, I cannot understand why the Vice-Mayor recused herself when she has already been
cleared for Vallco. This should not become a precedent! I hope to see her on the dais, speaking and
voting, the next time Vallco is discussed.

Dear Mayor Scharf, Councilmen Paul and Wiley,
Thank you for removing the contingent 2 million square feet of office at Vallco. It was contingent on having a
Vallco Specific Plan by May 31, 2018 which did not happen.
Also, thank you for restoring standards to the site that can be negotiated rather than abused.
Your dedication and commitment to improving the situation is much appreciated.
Warm regards,
Peggy Griffin

Dear Council-members,
Thanks for voting down the 2M office space, etc. last night,
however, as Cupertino resident, I would like to have more
retail space at Vallco, at the least 600,000 sqft or more.
Please consider to increase retail space at Vallco.

Subject: Regarding Vallco GPA
Dear Council,
I would like to express my opinion regarding the Vallco GPA.
Vallco Shopping Mall should be revitalized as a regional shopping center as the General Plan
envisions all along. Please restore the zoning at Vallco similar level as 2014, when it was purchased
by Sand Hill and forced to close down.
Sand Hill bought a shopping mall. It was zoned ONLY for shopping, dining, and entertainment.
Anything extra is already adding to their property value.
Thank you.
From A Cupertino Resident.
