It was the opinion of ~he staff that bike paths within street
right-of-way or eas~nts be handled administratively by the
Traffic Engineer and Public Works Department. The Public Safety
Commission could then review staff findinRs and make recomoendatio s
to the Council. Bike paths within parks and throu~h the park
chain would best be handled by the Parks and Recreation Coomissio
