A RESOLUTION OF THE ARCHITECTURAL AND SITE APPROVAL COMMITTEE OF THE CITY
OF CUPERTINO
WHEREAS, the applicant has submitted an application requesting exception to
the Sign Ordinance to allow a shopping center sign for a commercial building
with exhibits regarding the property as indicated:

APPLICANT: Federal Sign and SignalCorporation(PW Supermarket) -
ADDRESS: 1521 Terminal Avenue, San. Jose, California
LOCATION OF PROPERTY: Southwest corner of Homestead Road and.Saratoga-
Sunnyvale Road approximately 300 feet west of Saratoga -
Sunnyvale Road

WHEREAS, the Architectural and Site Approval Committee has reviewed the
application with regard to the areas of aesthetics and site plan,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE COMMITTEE RECOMMENDS denial of the: sign
exception:
FINDINGS:
to That the applicant failed to satisfy the criteria for exception
approval as delineated in Section 10.4 of Ordinance No. 3530
2< That the installation of a shopping center sign prior to completion
of said center would initiate an undesirable precedents
3. That the ultimate development plans of the property involved are
unknown:
