Said property is located westerly of and adjacent to Mira Vista Avenue approximately 85 feet southerly of the intersection 0: Santa Paula Avenue and ~ira Vista Av(,nue, l0535 IUra Vista Avenue. Recommended for approval. Mr. Roy Cook, Saratoga Real Estate broker, quoted the negative declaration on this application and the statet:1ents nade on the report by the Environmental Review Committee. He presented a brief to substantiate hi& protest to this zoning. Councilman ~eyers said there has been no change in the ordinance requiring annexation in order to get water service since 1957 or so. The Director of Public ¡,,,rks said the water meter is instal Ie and the property mmcr has sign('d a petition for annexation, Mr. Cook "xplained that he is the defendant along with Frontier Realtor in a suit fUed againM them. Councilman Jackson asked why we only collect the actual cost on these items when so much staff time is spent on this huusekeepi~~ item. The 'inance Director said it is true thnt the City has only recovered the cost of the removal ~f weeds. This has b2e~ the policy in the past. Public hearing on Ordinance No. 624, Swimming Pool Ordinance: The Assistant City Attorney noted that on pa~e 9, subsection b, they figure lO days should be enou~h time for the owner to have the dcfects corrected on his property.
