ARCHITECTURAL AND SITE APPROVAL COMMITTEE OF .THE CITY OF CUPERTINO recommending approval of site, architecture and landscaping for an existing commercial building as indicated on Exhibits A, r and C. PROPERTY OWNER;: Monte Ambinder APPLICANT: Kjartan O. Armann (Shoe Fair) ADDRESS: 208 Belmont Avenue, Los Gatos, California 95030 LOCATION OF PROPERTY: 10171 S. Saratoga -Sunnyvale Road, Cupertino, California 95014 ZONE: CG,CGeneral Commercial) Conditions: 1-7. Architectural and Site Approval Standard Conditions. 8. That prior to the City Council meeting the staff is.to explore the possibility of closing the curb cut on Saratoga -Sunnyvale Road and replacing it with.parking and landscaping. 9. That 3 landscape pockets are to be added to the south wall of the building and planted with a plant type that will grow up the side of the building. 10. That the shrubs in the landscape planter on Saratoga -Sunnyvale Road are to be staggered to provide full coverage of -the planter. 11. That the remainder of the building is to be painted a color that will match the proposed slumpstone facing as indicated on Exhibit B. 12. A planter is to be added to the front of the building under the over- hang which.will match the planter at Shoe Fair. 13. Within 90 days the applicant shall submit plans to the Architectural and Site Approval Committee to,bring the ground sign into conformance with Ordinance 353 or the owner shall remove said sign as stipulated in Section 11.2 of the Sign Ordinance.
