Reso 0581HC-513P230.11 RESOLUTION NO. 581 OF THE ARCHITECTURAL AND SITE APPROVAL COMMITTEE OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO.recommending approval of site, architecture, landscaping, grading, lighting, and signing for a restaurant facility as indicated on Exhibits A lst Revision, B, C, D and E. PROPERTY OWNER: West Valley Shopping Center, Inc. APPLICANT: Carl Karcher Enterprises Inc. ADDRESS: 1200 N. Harbor Blvd., Anaheim, California 92803 LOCATION OF PROPERTY: Southwest corner of Saratoga -Sunnyvale Road (De Anza Boulevard) and Homestead Road ZONE: CG (General Commercial) Conditions: 1-7. Architectural and Site Approval Standard Conditions. 8. As noted on Exhibit A lst Revision, the easterly driveway -to the site is to be closed and replaced with landscaping. The existing driveway serving the existing parking area from the west shall similarly be closed and replaced with landscaping. 9. The pavement area immediately to the east of the building is to be replaced with landscaping. An equal amount of this additional landscaping shall be provided on both sides (east and west) of the building. To accommodate this change the building shall be moved slightly to the east. 10. A raised walkway shall be provided on the site as marked on Exhibit A. lst Revision, from Homestead Road to a point southerly of the internal driveway entrance with the portion going across the driveway to be suitably marked to indicate a pedestrian crossing. 11. The roof tiles on the final plan are to be of the same color as those existing in the shopping center. 12. The Homestead Road frontage landscaping shall include an undulating mound with ivy. 13. At least two types of shrubs are to be planted at a distance of 8 ft. and 10 ft. on center or in groupings. The intent of Vhich is to provide suitable screening and aesthetic design for the center. The plant choice is to be of a variety other than the,India Hawthorne as proposed on the landscaping plan. 14. Four trees shall be added on the easterly boundary abutting the raised sidewalk. -1- HC-51,230.11 RESOLUTION NO. 581 (continued) 15. One tree shall be added in the middle of each of the three parking rows on Exhibit A 1st Revision. 16. All plants proposed shall be of the 5 gallon size for shrubs and the 15 gallon size for trees. 17.
